The PBS program Religion & Ethics Newsweekly aired this report on the problem of young people who 'age out' of the foster care system. The report features Covenant House as an example of an organization which can bridge this vital gap in services.

  • @drodwell My brother stayed at covenant house, thank goodness for organizations like this.

  • I went thru mulitiple foster homes, group homes, phych wards, detox's & a rehab, spent 6 yrs on & off the streets as a selfmutilating, homeless junkie... was in covenant house toronto twice, but eventually a street help organization brought me to a place where I could change my life: Freedom Village U.S.A... there is hope & help for those who want it, or if you know someone who needs it- Never Give Up Hope!

  • my story is similar. i was in foster care my whole life, adopted at 15 and kicked out at 18. im 21 now and been on my own ever since. i stayed at the covenant house in Philadelphia before too
