Actually rapid-charge is available today with Nissan Leaf and Mitsubishi MiEV. You can charge your car in like 10-15 minutes to get like 60-70 miles drive in your battery and 30 minutes to get 80-100 miles so if we place some of them (they are not that expensive) we will kill the petroleum car in no time.

anyways agree 25%. Gas isn't as expensive as you'd think. There's inflation and then there's initial cost. A good gasoline car will cost about $10,000, used. You'll get about 20-25mpg. Meaning that it'll take about 80 years for the gasoline costs to warrant the shiny new roadster (or 25 for the miles' sedan)
