This Brazilian movie from producer Elisa Tolomelli and director Malu di Martino with Ana Paula Arósio as Júlia and Arieta Correia as Helena is not easy to watch for all who had a traumatic breakup in their lives, because it will pull at your heartstrings like the painful restlessness of Julia. But exactly that is what makes this movie so believable and cut to the quick, but you will find hope to overcome a difficult past.

After breaking up with her enigmatic big love Antonia, 35-year-old English Literature teacher Júlia is thrown into a desperate, painful situation. Júlia's internal turmoil hampers her efforts to move on with her life and what is worse, is the fact that she is constantly surrounded by people like her best gay friend Hugo who has also lost someone important in his life. He persuades her to move in together with him and another friend that's been traumatised by a relationship; Lisa.

At this idyllic spot near the sea, all different conflicts come together and all three of them have to learn that everyone has a different way of handling personal pain. But throughout this process, Júlia meets Helena, Lisa's cousin, and she finally allows herself to feel again and learn how to move on and look for new ways of finding happiness.
