Cosmic Consciousness, as I understand it, is another name for God. AKA; Christ Consciousness, The Source, The Truth etc... The the idea is that you're not in charge and that if you listen not to what you (your mind) is saying, but to what the "Cosmic Consciousness" is saying, you'll be better off.
