BTW, children don't need child support checks. They need a man who is going to be in their lives to mold and shape them in responsible and productive adults. I guarantee you if there was a law that allowed men to opt out of paying child support, women would think twice about getting pregnant in the first place.

Child Support is extortion. If a man doesn't want a child, and you do, and you have it, he shouldn't have to pay you sh!t. However, he can decide to have something to do with the child, and still help out - but the government shouldn't make him.

News Flash: NOT EVERY WOMAN WANTS TO HAVE A CHILD Should these women who do not want children be forced to have and raise the child if they become pregnant? Unless abortion is made illegal in this country and we force these women to raise unwanted children then there are very few so called deadbeat dads in this country, but a lot of men who were forced to pay for a child they did not want. Make everything equal and you will see a change.

u r right. until they change the abortion law, i can not support child support. i am against abortion and for men raising his kids but fair is fair. we must have equal rights. why its is a woman body as if the man is nothing and when the baby is born all of a sudden the man who had no choice on the birth of his own child and as they say dont go thru any pregnancy pains LOL (we do) is expected to become half responsible why aint we half responsible b4 that. we always was the dad. i dont understan

While I agree with you, I'd love to know the percentage of women who actually have the opportunity to benefit fro the 18-year Plan, as I've heard it called. I don't think that the average woman in America is going out of her way to get pregnant in order to make money off of some guy. This typically, happens to celebrities. And not to say that celebrities don't need someone to fight for them, but that's a small percentage of folks who have this issue and can actually afford to fight it.

also how do you raise a child you do not have custody of? you say everyone here is either a virgin or stupid so if your so smart explain how you can raise a child if the law will not allow you to see it even though you are a very fit parent?

@mskiara101 no actually i dont say so the family court system does... if a poor women gets with a man who ears 100k a year and that man now pays her 17 (actually 20) percent of his income monthly how does that not cover the complete care of a child...
