The problem with this type trike is they are too wide. A trike with one front and 2 rear, where the 2 rear ones tilt with the body on corners could result in a narrower body and more importantly much narrower wheel width. So, it can get over further to be passed without getting so much into the gravel. Also, there could be space between the wheels for carrying parcels. One could use chain front wheel drive, or use all battery and replace the sprockets with a small pancake generator. ??

Looks fantastic. Noticed the hub motor has gears which is then chained to wheel which to my mind is brilliant as it allows the hub motor to be used at its most efficient speed instead of being restricted to riders pedal speed. Might be an idea to have optional flexible 48v solar cells on body to improve range a further 30% (~100watt) when the sun shines.

I would think it would have some solar panels on it because of the name.
-
How much is it going to be?

What axles are used for the front wheels? In a "normal" bike there is only a sheering force, here there is also a bending moment.
Are the stock axles (diameter) strong enough?
-
@adrianTNT True with older battery technologies, but lithium ion is so light in comparison that the additional weight penalty is likely negligable.
-
Why not cover the whole thing with solarpanels for some extra charge....?

@SciFi01 I happen to live in one of those countries that limit it to 25km/h.. but also the motor is limited to 250watts. If you exceed either of those you have to register it as a moped, but then you are limited to the local speed limit or 50km/h max... so no more speeding downhill :(

carry a extra battery pack and away you go

If you mean a streamliner, then yes, faster than a velomobile, but also way less practical. So much so that they are pretty much useless on the roads.
range?

60km range with a 48V 15A Li-ION batery pack (standard)
120km with two 48V 15A Li-ION batery packs (optional)
