Right after the kick, I ran to the middle of the field. I looked up and saw a state trooper sprinting at me...I ran like hell, barley made it to the sidelines and then dove as he tried to put the hit on me. He flew right over the top of me. But that moment, in the middle of the mayhem, celebrating that moment with the state of nj may have been the greatest moment of my life. Go RU football.

I almost cried when this happened. It kept us from going to the National Championship game that year. One of the saddest moments in UofL football history. That, and the UConn fake fair catch.

That arms open-to-camera point will be engrained in my memory forever. That is the image I get every time I hear Rutgers football. Classic.
