Troy Davis is at risk of execution as early as September 2011, even though grave doubts about his guilt remain.

With all legal appeals exhausted, Davis' fate will be in the hands of Georgia's Board of Pardons and Paroles. Once his execution date is scheduled, they will be presented with the option of permanently preventing his execution.

I sincerely believe that true political prisoners need as much international help as they can get; however, Amnesty International lost me when they chose to represent the savage murderer, Paula Cooper. That is an insult to political prisoners everywhere.

As a result, for me, there will be a perpetual shadow cast over anyone A.I. represents. I'll never be certain whether their clients are true freedom fighters, or just fortunate, earth bound demons.
