  • thank you for ur lessons sir...... :)

can we have C major scale in different positions of fret board pls ?????

  • @achyutha88 If you go to week 6, you will have a B scale that is movable. Move it a fret higher, and you have the next C. Play Week 7, F# Scale, and you can move that form up to the C on the 6th string, and play the next inversion up the neck.

  • 7 WEEKS? I've been playing at it for about 5years now picking up stuff from books and the internet. But this thumb pick alternating finger scale thing and also strumming with the finger tips, it's like starting over. But I love the number system and how you can use it to transpose a song to a different key, I'd never heard it explained that way before. Regardless thanks for the lessons, they make way more sense than any lessons I've had in the past.

  • I'm glad to hear it. Thanks for the kind words.

  • you are the man.

  • I'm a little bit overboard when I get interested in something; having said that I've searched (way too many hours) the internet for guitar instruction. Rob is EXCEPTIONAL. Stop wasting your time (and money) and follow his instructions. Absolutely incredible teaching style and knowledge!! Many, many, thanks Rob.

  • @robbourassaguitarist thank you sir :)

  • Your lessons are awesome. I've been playing the guitar for over a year, just finding tabs and practicings. I already feel your lessons building a strong foundation for me. Thank you!

  • Hi Rob. Thanks for the lessons.

When stumming chords with fingers(as in video) are you plucking the strings or brushing? using all fingers? Also when using thumbpick how are you keeping unplayed strings from ringing out. (on single notes.

    Thanks again

  • Great sessions! I've been taking lessons from great technicians, but they lack the instructional ability to teach like you. Since I began your lessons, my chord changes are becoming faster and smoother. My ear is beginning to learn the chord sounds. Because of your instruction, I'm getting a new excitement about my picking. Your instructional methodology also inspires discipline and patience! Thanks, Rob!
