I was going through the Cave of Ordeals again on the GCN version, and out of curiousity decided to climb back up to the previous level before jumping down and visiting the Great Fairy to get another bottle of Fairy Tears.

Upon climbing up to the level again, I began to hear wings flapping. Sure enough, the pair of Aeralfos from the level previous to this one came swooping in through the entrance, and began to attack me.

  • four Darknuts..? I fought only three on the last floor...? I'm can't used cheats because I don't know how, so don't say I cheated. I should go through the cave a agin and try the Aeralfos thing.

  • There are four darknuts only on the second, third, fourth, etc. times you go in.

  • What is the cave of ordeals, and where can I find it?

  • It's in Gerudo Desert, and it's 50 levels of different enemies attacking you. At the end, you get Fairy Tears, which restore your energy and give you an attack boost for a while.

  • i dont remember seeing the post man when i was in the cave of ordeals...the prize for completing it sucks but if you ask me its pretty easy to complete. imo the hardest monsters are those damn things that freeze you and if you hit them enough they turn into the little glacier things...those things are annoying. Also theres a gold flan in the cave at one point, in case anyone wanted one

  • The postman is only there after beating it the second time.

  • @YoshiSOUR me too, but do you know what to do with those guys? there must be some secret or something...remember, it's a Zelda game, maybe you need their shields to climb up again or somenthing, or maybe they give you somenthing special i don't now but there must be something!

  • @DSG3002 Hey but those aeralfos are endless isn´t it? or maybe you need to climb with their shields or something, there must be some hidden stuff, they will not put the postman just for that!

  • @Zeldafreak6245 joke

  • @dinorpg DSG3002 is right, its at the a "little"bottom-right of the dessert(wii version) or at the a "little"bottom-left of the dessert (gamecube version)

NOTE: it is NOT confirmed if the cave is at the "little"bottom-left,or at the "little upper-left of the gamecube version (it is confirmed that it is at the left half of the dessert since wii version is a mirrored version of the game in the gamecube).

  • AND you can catch fairy's at places

  • I hated how you had to go thru here in the Wind Waker for the Triforce piece.

  • If you get a blue chu mixed up with a yellow one you get a green one. Search on youtube.

  • Green chus were taken out because they took out the magic meter

  • Man, the way they enter the room scares the living crap outta me. Their AI is way superior O_o

By chance, today I did my second run (in a new file), and in the room plagued with Chus (flan, as someone says here XD) I saw a GREEN one. In zeldapedia I read you can create green chu jelly, but there's no green chus, apparently. Now this article has been shortened, but read it if you can.

  • That happend to me as well! I was like what is that noise? Then i see them, and i was like...What the-??
