The Andromeda Strain is a fantastic 70's sci-fi movie, directed by Robert Wise who brought us 'The Day the Earth Stood Still', 'Run Silent, Run Deep', and 'The Haunting'. It was also the first film to be adapted from a Michael Crichton novel.
Thought I'd keep my editing skills in shape by editing a shiny new trailer for it.
In response to questions about the music, there are two songs used in this trailer, both from the soundtrack to Danny Boyle's 'Sunshine' (2007):
Track 06: Kanada's Death, Pt 1
Track 14: Capa Suits Up

One of my favourite films, but the original trailer in no way did it justice - this does. Excellent work - well done.

Ok I just watched this again Ive watched it before but not only is this film amazing but this choice of music and edit really is just brilliant. Have to just say well done again its a great cut and composition

Hello people, thanks for the comments.
There are two songs used in this trailer, both from the soundtrack to Danny Boyle's 'Sunshine' (2007). The soundtrack was mostly written by John Murphy, who also composed the brilliant 'In the house - In a heartbeat' for 28 Days Later.
