  • thanx a lot!!!

    I love this musical

  • I wish so desperatly that there could be another movement like this, or that I could have grown up in the original one!! Sadly though so many of this generation has already been numbed by machines...... but I just wish things could matter like they did before!! God I sound so self righteous....... sorry, but I do mean it. People were united then.

  • When will the moon be in the 7th house? When will Jupiter align with Mars??

  • hahaha maybe there will be a musical about the occupy movement

  • Note - that the play was done in the 1960s. The original writers consulted Tarot before they'd allow it to be made into a movie - that took until 1979. True hippies.

  • @KatieTatieTot so you're mom let you listen to songs like "sodomy" but wouldn't let you see the movie? Weird.

  • Just saw them on Tour in the Hershey Theater, A FREAKIN MAZING!!!! I was the same way, I knew all the music just not the show or the storyline. SOoooooo GOOOD!!

  • Just saw the traveling Broadway show (good show;) and wanted to see this again. I think that both are different, but excellent ---

    Love this song:

    "Mystic crystal revelation

    And the mind's true liberation"

    Like the Twyla Tharp choreography.

    Always liked Treat Williams.

  • @Sshelly34213 Funny but Steve Jobs has repeatedly referred to himself as a hippie

  • @khamsin59 Well they're not, they were never hippies. The "hippie" generation does not exist, there is only the baby boomer generation. The hippies were a movement and Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs were not a part of that movement. So to say that the personal computer and internet is responsible from...you or something-I'm really not sure what you're getting at here-or even the hippies is just false. The hippies had no effect on this, again over glorifying the hippies.

  • @khamsin59 Politically manufactured? What does that even mean? It really just refers to a group of people born from 1926-1945. people who were too young to fight in world war 2 and too old to fight in Vietnam. It has nothing to do with anything except that.

Although one can look at that particular group and the movements that came about as these people came of age. The point is that the hippies were a separate group of young people in the 60s from those who were already politically active

  • @Sshelly34213 I didn't say they were hippies. They are baby boomers. Since you claim that all baby boomers are the hippie generation, by your own definition, Wozniak and Jobs ARE from the hippie generation whether they ever adopted a hippie philosophy or lifestyle or not.
