Hi, I have the same 5.8 GHz 500mw video tx. Did you also use this for the 5km flight? If so, what patch antenna did you use on receiver, and how is the image at that distance? So far, I've gone to about 1200m with good signal and stock antennas.

great video and thanks for giving me the idea of the setup of the gopro and the sony camera =] i am guessing you have OSD Pro? did you use a patch antenna? what is your max range? thanks
