This is a "wrong turn-off" situation lol. The flight crew turned into the wrong inlet and as you see they have to crank it hard to get back out. notice the "Terrain, Terrain, Pull-up" warnings in the background.

I wanted to post this so the credit is going where it is due. These pilots are Polish, These fliers do an amazeing job and deserve kudos for makeing these flights and to Zibi for makeing these videos.

As far as this video is concerned i have seen the island on sat images and it isn't hard to see how easy it would be to make this mistake. The flight crew does a great job here.

  • I just wanted to drop this in. Please be respectful of the pilots and flight crews in these videos. I understand and expect everyone to have opinions but I need everyone to understand that I expect a level of respect to be given. Disrespectful comments will unfortunately be removed. Thanks

  • Wanted to again thank the gentleman who shot this and allowed me to post this. I really enjoy these videos myself and think they are worth sharing. The SAAB 340 is a wonderful aircraft and i've found to be a joy to work on.

I wanted to once more remind anyone who wishes to post a comment to please keep them clean. If you feel the need to be profane please message the individual on the side and not in the comments. Nasty comments will be removed. Thanks again!

  • ...yeah i understand after watching...they just had a wrong turn, not missed approach...

  • @AmielSeth821 i'll refer you to my response to FlyerJuan: It was humor. as in suppose to be funny. and i did refer to this as a "Wrong Turn" situation in the description that no one apparently reads anymore (not directed at any specific individual but to a general audience.

  • Dont get why the title "missed approach" it was great, i mean i dont fly a SAAB 340 and i dont know the aiport but the approach was acomplished right?

  • @FlyerJuan Thanks :)

PS yeah my humor is lacking.

  • That's a Saab 340. I agree with someone's post, if GPWS says climb, then you shouldnt dick around and make fancy turns around mountains. I hope it wasn't a passenger revenue flight. Most western airlines you would probably get fired for this.

  • With Polish pilots a more appropriate FCS warning would be "Pure Grain" "Pure Grain" followed by "Drink Up !!" "Drink Up !!" "Drink Up !!"

  • NICE

  • Słyszę, że w kabinie Polacy:)

  • What airport is this?

  • ...I get the title, it is quite funny. Bless 'em! Bold manouver to turn rather than climb, but I imagine they knew the area and the performance of the kite better than any of us douchebags.

  • Łuuuhuuuu! Wreszcie Polacy! :D

  • lol .. pilot* lol oops *45degree turn passengers* wtf

  • @dska22 Any plane is gonna have a good turning radius at a low speed like that, climbing was unnecessary and from the path they flew they were in a continous position from which to power up and climb out of it if necessary, but it never became necesary.
