@gautlet996, yeah when technology get better, but thats taking away from our "betterness" if im making sense. idk i mean if you truly want to be better than Bubka you have to use the same type of stuff he did, it was rough back in the 80s-90s. lol
@joebro391 no one is using the same strength poles he was... he got such a huge pop because he would get inverted perfectly and the pole was designed for a much bigger weight, so he gets thrown off the top... if you watch, he hardly ever pushes off the pole for his huge pop
no, the record can be broken, HOWEVER, no one can truely say they're better than the current record holder (BUBKA - as of 4-19-2009), until they clear 6 meters 30+ times, and put their hips over 6.40 meters
