  • @gautlet996, yeah when technology get better, but thats taking away from our "betterness" if im making sense. idk i mean if you truly want to be better than Bubka you have to use the same type of stuff he did, it was rough back in the 80s-90s. lol

  • @joebro391 no one is using the same strength poles he was... he got such a huge pop because he would get inverted perfectly and the pole was designed for a much bigger weight, so he gets thrown off the top... if you watch, he hardly ever pushes off the pole for his huge pop

  • very true i believe bubkas record will be broken when the technology gets better in the pole it self.

  • no, the record can be broken, HOWEVER, no one can truely say they're better than the current record holder (BUBKA - as of 4-19-2009), until they clear 6 meters 30+ times, and put their hips over 6.40 meters

  • It's gonna be impossible to break that record. lol
