@sellammar Uh, no, the original isn't always better. There have been plenty of 'cover' songs that went on to gold or platinum status, sold millions, where the original artist simply didn't have either the best voice for the song, or able to express it as well as what followed. But in this case, both Carola's and U2's version were excellent.

I have only heard Carola sing two songs so far.This great track by U2 and 'woman in love' by Barbra Streisand.She did an excellent vocal on both.Obviously a very talented lady!
