I worked a job about 10 years ago where we used a custom built 1266 (that had come from a strip mine) to put a slurry cut off wall down the middle of a dam that had been leaking for decades.
It was an amazing machine. With the boom and stick that was on it, we were digging at a max depth of 98 feet.
It had two 650hp (ea) 12 cyl Detroits and weighed 450,000 lbs.
I would love to see a vid about one. There are none on here! :(
@PAmining yes I have,we ride 4-wheelers up there in PA mining country with a mining co.permit all the time.We just don't go too close to the co's equipment as you do..nice vids,keep up the good work-we all enjoy em..
You said it has a Detroit V12...Is it a Jimmy, like a 12V92
