Britney sits back, does no promo, doesn't even try, is known for lip-syncing and has a very bad rep, yet her album debuts no1, her first single goes no1 in 20 countries with no promo. TTWE goes no3 with no promo. IWG goes no9 with no promo and her tour went beyond well. That is a success for someone that doesn't do any promo, hasn't got a good rep and has competition from Gaga, Beyonce & Rihanna.

@Kiiddy Whatever. My point is everyone has flop moments. Madonna, Mariah, Rihanna, Beyonce... they all have some flop singles and albums, and so does Britney. An album that sold around 1.5 million and has no Grammy nods like Femme Fatale is just no where near a "success". The only success is Till the world end.
