  • This was the speech of a lifetime from the candidate of a lifetime. Not only did he inspire, unite and GALVANIZE us to action across party lines, but he also set forth with stern conviction a detailed plan and a way forward--and he didn't have to stoop to any lies and thuggish nastiness like we saw in the RNC. That baseness and evil is the GOP's speciality. Obama will win. We've all had enough and he is our best hope. He's brilliant, dedicated, and a capable leader, and his time has come.

  • Not quite treysparker, not quite. All islamic extremist groups follow a philosophy which is often one a person. Defeat it and at least for a time being you throw the organization. Bin Laden is not in Iraq! That's fact!

  • Then sir, if you aren't going to vote- don't comment.

  • To put it simple; I think it's horribly embarrassing that Obama and McCain are the best 2 candidates this country can come up with. I support neither, and I will not be voting.

  • Although it is true that he will have to push through a lot of crap that Bush gave us, I'm confident that he will get to most of his agenda items as both the house and the senate are democratically controlled. Dear moster88888 - it makes me feel a little better knowing that you aren't a republican 'going with the flow' as stupid people do. In any case, are u old enough to vote and if yes who are u considering to vote for?

  • man.. too bad Bill Clinton cant run for a 3rd time...

  • If he wants to cast off the old ideas and politics of the past, why is he associating himself with, and praising the Clintons? Bullshit flag!

  • Oh and thank you nitramwin for not just senselessly flaming the shit out of me.

    Comment appreciated. +1

  • I'm right because he is going to have to deal with Bush's policies for the first 2-3 years of his presidency. One candidates presidency is determined due to the previous one. If he is spending so much time fixing Bushs' fuck ups, how is he going to fulfill all these promises? Put simply, he isn't, he is saying them because they are what people want to hear.

And no, I am not a Republican...I wouldn't know what to call myself...I vote both ways depending on the candidate.

  • Ill Make It Simple When You Want To Fix Your Home Say The Roof Who Do You Hire?

Option(A) McCain Who Has The Experience & The Background To Fix The Roof

    Or

Opition(B) A Person Who Says He Knows How To Fix A Roof But Has No Background History Or No Experience.

    Who Do You Hire??

  • @monster88888

I don't want to bicker with you, but can you explain to exactly me why you think you're right when you say, "Lies, lies and more lies."?

If you say Obama is not going to fulfill these promises, (and I'm assuming that you are a Republican) how about you look at what McCain is offering - nearly the same old stuff that Bush has been offering for the last 8 years.

Personally, I think anything that is going in the direction of CHANGE is better than McCain!!
