Sarah Polly is a gift to the film world. Her first directed film is a genuinely stunning as her deeply humble acting.

I couldn't be more happy for her success in Away From Her. She's got such killer instinct, sensitivity, and intellect, and it's wonderful that she's finally getting noticed by the public. She's still very underexposed in America, but I appreciate the low profile that she keeps.

I had never seen her before watching the final season of Slings & Arrows on DVD and within the great ensemble that show had Sarah really stood out as having star quality and great acting chops.

The film is excellent. I'm not sure about saying this as I'm a man, but I think this movie and that one Sarah featured in and was directed by Coixet are a good example of not feminist but feminine movies, or how women ponder about certain situations.

That is poetry.

sarah is the best actress ever, next to Juilet Lewis. I agree, she is underrated, but she did it to herself. She had many chances to go to Hollywood, but didn't want to. She a real talent, I wish she'd begin acting again.

That was a good decision (not to go to Hollywood). Therefore she has become more famous in Europe (and is not underrated there!)

I remember her from the Ramona Quimby videos based on the books by Beverly Cleary.
