catch em, clean em, grill em, eat em

Probably the only fly fishing video with a joy division song as the background music.

where is the Bitterroot idaho or Montana?

who cares about the music, does it matter that the song is or was ovdr-rated NO!! All that matters is that they were out on the water and having fun and any of you are real fisherman you would know that.

Stick to your guns, Switchfly: this JD song is awesome.

liked the footage and the music. flatwater fishing can be an amazing and satisying experience. love to spend all morning working one fish on the beaverhead during trico season...the more difficult the lie, the better. sometimes you get it and sometimes you don't.
he tried that but i find roll-casts are very loud on the water and sometimes spook the fish. Otherwise definitely a good idea and landing certainly a problem.

these were extremely picky fish and if he stepped into the water they heard him. another problem is the high bank that prevents easy casting. the funny thing was that after i filmed this frustration for three hours i took a couple of casts and hooked into a fish. what i stood on a 15 foot high cliff and cast as far as i could into that pod of fish. and it worked.

intresting clip, re-think the soundtrack. even in their time J Div was overated.

interesting comment, re-think your criticism.
are you a rolling stone's critic now? i checked out your video and liked it but since we are being overly opinionated, which it seems you make a habit of, your selection of "beautiful day" by U2 for a video of a beautiful day fishing is pretty creative- probably the most trite pop song ever.
and, if you were a rolling stones critic, you would know that Joy Division is probably the most underrated band of all time.
