  • @Mazaron lol thank you.

  • @megalodonNL not bios dependent but your os has to support eufi in order to boot itself otherwise all ur gonna c is the eufi bios and your not gonna be able to go into windows or w/e os u use yeah i dont think xp supports uefi without a fix that let it run. im pretty sure theyll come out with it or already have it so it runs on eufi

  • short and sweet. clear as a bell. well done

  • haha... 8gb of ram..... noob. :P but seriously, what is up with your 60 degree idling temperature in the bios.... might wanna check into that

  • @cybercorfu its false....mine says 54 or somethin...others have reached 90!!

  • @Frap357 Thats not he point of UEFI

  • AMI had a GUI-based BIOS in 1994.

So GUI-based configuration isn't something new with (U)EFI.

  • Stupid question perhaps, but is the UEFI bios OS dependent? It shouldn't be, since it's accessed before the OS is even booted, but I'm asking to be sure. I've read about something not being supported with WinXP but I forgot exactly what that was.
