Vietnam - Only Sadness (Black April Commemoration)

This video is my personal project to showcase the side of Viet Nam that I, along with a majority of other young vietnamese americans, grew up with. We are used to learning, hearing, and seeing the side of Viet Nam that is full of blood, hatred, and deaths from the war.

Each year, during our Black April Commemoration, there has always been a video that consists of pictures of war scenes, of deaths, of pain. This year, this video, is no different. However, this is my way of showing it. I care not about the pain, nor the sadness, but I want to direct the attention to the people around such atmosphere. I wanted to know what was going through the head of the young boy whos standing next to a dead body? of the man who has a gun pointing to his head?
