As Chita Rivera said when Jerry Orbach died: "He was one swell guy. Whay you saw was what you got." He was awesome on stage. I was firtunate enough to ahve seen him in three shows: 42nd Street, Chicago and Promises, Promises.

My most treasured possession...a Playbill autographed by Chita Rivera, Gwen Verdon and Jerry Orbach. They were so nice to autograph it for me when I was a kid.

Same here I just found footage from the original production of Sondheim's original production of "Follies" feels miraculous! If I had known there was so much Broadway on Mike Douglas I'd have watched a lot more after school.

I always wonder how many of these great performances are still out there undiscovered or just not available to the public. Even the Original cast recording is hard to find on CD much less actual footage from these historical musicals. Thanks for posting this for all of us.

What an awesome talent, with such versatility. Most people knew him on Law and Order, but would have loved him more had they seen him on Broadway.
