True to the original guitar this strat is an alder body painted olympic white with a solid maple neck with the large CBS style headstock. vintage radius, vintage tuners, medium C shape neck, 70's F tuners, custom stamped F neckplate, CS69 pickups, premium electronics.

Right handed guitar with a left handed nut.

How does anyone know for sure that Jimi's white Strat or his beloved black beauty Stratocaster were in deed alder body guitars and not ash bodies???

@petecatz They were both alder bodies. Ash is much lighter than alder so the weight is a dead giveaway. We have replicated both the woodstock and black beauty strat. Check em out on our facebook page! just search for custom-relics

@libertyfalls -Jimi's "black beauty" has been in a secret place since his death in 1970 and nobody has proved that it's a ALDER body guitar.....also his "woodstock" white Strat that is on display has never been stripped down to prove that it is in deed ALDER and not ASH. You can't go by the weight either because all the CBS Stratocaster's were heavy.....the lighter weight ash bodies were from the pre CBS period of the 1950's. CBS had some heavy ash body guitars with great tone and a lot of bite.
