this song is a fine example as to why I would rather sleep in my car other than spend money for a room that otherwise would have gone towards a ticket to see the DEAD.

Does anybody here even know who this was written for/about? It was written for Janis. ..Joplin that is. So....um....yea....just thought Id throw that in here cuz all Im readin is comments about nekkid girls and Mountain Girl. Dont get me wrong- Mountain Girl is awesome. Certainly much more so than Deborah Koons. ...whatever that money grubbin chicks name is har har har ...love the song thanks for postin

@NoRosesForMe - Hi - i had read that in one of Jerry's biographies i think but had forgotten when i put together this video. Thanks for the reminder, i'll do a Janis tribute "Bird Song" in the near future.
