Hartveilig wonen Heartsafe living

Heartsafe Living involves volunteers who are dedicated to saving people's lives. It is organised neighbourly assistance, meant to reduce the number of deaths due to critical circulatory arrest. Heartsafe Living is voluntary assistance in addition to ambulance care. Several parties are involved in the organisation of Heartsafe Living: the municipality or local initiator, the Ambulance Care incident room, the regional ambulance dispatch centres, the
GHOR [Regional Medical Assistance Organisations
Foundation], a regional training centre, an educational institute and Heartsafe Living itself. In addition, suppliers
of AED equipment are vital.

Hartveilig wonen is georganiseerde burenhulp, waarmee het aantal sterfgevallen door een acute circulatiestilstand kan verminderen. Hartveilig wonen is vrijwillige hulp aanvullend op ambulancezorg. Als vrijwilliger kunt u mensenlevens redden door deel te nemen aan Hartveilig wonen.
