This scene is so remarkably beautiful. I've sort of forgotten about this scene-but it's one of my favorites. This episode had me crying so hard.

@LizzyCarsonOfficial It's the season 1 finale, The Parting of The Ways.

Oh, how I love this scene! It's so sad, but so beautiful at the same time, and it's probably my favorite scene from season 1 of Doctor Who, and one of my favorites over all. It's just... epic. Although I slightly prefer David Tennant to Christopher Eccleston, it would have been nice to have a couple more seasons with Eccleston, because he was a truly fantastic Doctor.

Just think, he has to change that hologram with every new face, and every new companion :')

what ep is this?!?!?!?!

@zivabby Me too! I wish he'd done more than the one series

This is such a powerful scene. One of my favorites in all of Doctor Who, probably. When his image turns to look at her... ugh, I just get the shivers every time.

eccleston was a good doctor, I miss him

ooh... good scene. i think this is what Rose means when she says in Doomsday, "Oh no you don't. I will not let you do that to me again."

have a good life...
Now, I am a HUGE David Tennant fan - absolutely adore him. But, I'm a bit sad for Eccleston. He did a remarkably good job as the Doctor, but he's come to be so overshadowed by the phenomenal David Tennant's longer tenure. So, anyway, just wanted to publicly state appreciation for Eccleston's work as the Doctor.

Too sad!
it also makes me sad that people sort of forget about eccleston. he was a really good doctor! and in a way i sort of prefer his and roses relationship
10 and rose were beautiful too.
the bit where he turns to look at her always gives me shivers! how did he know shed be standing there?
and, "take me back, take me back" is what she said when she was seperated from tennant!
