As in my previous video I wanted to reflect the very close bond between John and Paul. Unfortunately, I picked this song before realizing that it implies that John loved Paul more than anyone else in his life. It wasn't my intention to suggest that; merely to showcase their tremendous love and affection for one another that transcends space, time and even death (imo). It would have been more accurate for my purposes had John sung, "I love you STILL" as opposed to "more", but..hopefully you'll allow me some poetic license and I hope you all enjoy the video, just the same.

There are references to places in the video like Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. John's Menlove Avenue home is shown (the "original" and restored version), Aunt Mimi's home which John had bought her in '65, but which was demolished in '91 upon her death, The Cavern Club ("old" and "new"), the Jacaranda, Quarry Bank High School, and Liverpool Art College.

As for the people, there is (of course) Aunt Mimi, Julia, Brian Epstein, Stu Sutcliffe, George Martin, Derek Taylor (the boys' press officer), Neil and Mal (their road managers, if I'm not mistaken), Cynthia and May Pang (John's assistant/lover during his "Lost Weekend" period). I also included an old pic of John "cutting up" with his mates, among them Pete Shotton, and an old image of a young John with his beloved Uncle George. Hopefully I haven't left out anyone to describe.

I hope you all enjoy the video. :)

  • I'm 11, my music teacher likes to listen to classic rock while we work. My friend said "I bet I can name every song, album and year of the beatles songs first" I smoked him in every one. Love This Song btw!

  • Beautiful video and a so kind tribute for the dear one who truly said - "All you need is love." December 8th, 1980 is a day that brought sorrow to so many.

    We love you John!

Paul never did anything viciously, since the spiteful Jap woman torpedoed the group.

  • @MrMGD92 It's very "deep", right?..I mean..for a 24 year old to write something so poignant, reflective and meaningful.. John was a very old soul..a beautiful, misunderstood soul. I love him so much for having the courage to give so much of himself to the world and in doing so letting us know that we weren't alone. I just wish the boy KNEW how talented he was, instead of always "knocking" himself. This song, as you said, is one of the best ever written. Thank you for commenting, hon'. xo
