Motorcycle touring is a lot easier with some luggage on the bike. I decided to buy another set to compliment my Givi luggage. I now have a small set of side bags for around town and a larger set for touring. Here's the video scoop. Created on February 27, 2010 using FlipShare.

  • @TommyStokke The seat on my V-Strom is a Sargent. I also bought it at Sport Tour. It has made a world of difference. Thanks for watching my videos. --Brent

  • I cannot answer. I always ride solo. But, I have a friend who rides two up on a V-Strom DL650 with a pair of E-45s without issues. A full-face helmet will not fit in the 36s.

  • Nice video.I also bought the E45s after having a jc whitney top case. The givies are much better. My only complaint being that the small red strip decal was not put on well.I need to glue them on better someday.I want to get the E36 side cases next summer.Do they interfere with 2-up riding?

  • @simon44 @simon44 --Simon, after analyzing the extra width of the E45s, I decided on the E36s. I also made the decision based upon how I pack the bike. Even with the 36s, the panniers will not be full. The 45s would be overkill. The 21s, along with my top case and a waterproof duffel bag behind me on the seat, took me to California and back last year--6,209 miles in 19 days. I think my choices are really going to work for me, based on how I pack and ride. --Brent

  • @SojournChronicles Out of curiosity why didnt you want the E45's? filtering and lean angle or some other reason like price or something? I was thinking of buying the E21's for touring solo for 2 weeks in Spain, Andorra and France.

  • @simon44 --That's correct. The E36s will not hold a helmet. I did not want to buy the wider E45s, which will hold a helmet. I have a 45L top box that will hold my full-face and my wife's 3/4 helmets. I bought the E36s to carry other stuff, lowering the weight off my seat to near the axle. --Brent

  • The E36's dont hold helmets bigger than size Medium-Large. With that said it wouldnt fit my ML sized AVG. It was short by about 2mm even when I tried forcing them in.

  • Mate this is a good video lots of information keep making them
