    Blake's C to E7 stumble-bass lick has been a mystery for most instructors throughout the years but I think you have it nailed. Ton Van Bergeyk's "Mustard Swing" is the closest I've heard to your playing but the tab is wrong concerning this lick. Trying to work it out. Will be ordering more in the future. Thanks again, Jim!!

  • Thanks for your comment. yes, I think learning Blake comes in 3 stages - learning where the fingers should be, adapting to the considerable dexterity you need just to play it, and then trying to capture that incredible rythm.
