Lol, u bet wrong. I've been a drummer for 10 years. And I know when overdramatic shitty drumming ruins potentially good instrumental rock. If you want good atmosphere, try listening to Auburn Lull, or Mogwai and stay away from Emo BS like Explosions in the sky.

Who are you calling a successful band emo bullshit? If you're going to comment, atleast respect the fact of how difficult it is to make it in this genre of music and how far this band has gone.

just because he uses the crash a lot doesn't mean that the band sucks
i think that it is purposefully used to convey the climax and emotion of the song
im not trying to offend anyone, but it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of their music
they're the musicians
they make the music because they love it
it's their song
it doesn't matter what you or i think
they're still gonna keep playing it regardless of who likes it or not
