  • I am planning on going to Kingston University in London as soon as I have my BA from Utah State University! I'm glad I saw this video, because I was beginning to think it was impossible to go over there to study with all of my visa research.

By the way, it sounds like you are almost going in and out of a partial-British accent... Am I making that up?

  • @SarahRubyK

Hi and thanks for the video comment! Kingston is a fantastic University and I'm sure you will love it there. Yes...that was a slight accent I obtained besides my B.A. while studying in London, needless to say it's almost gone since I've moved back to the states!

Let me know if you have any other questions about living in London or the University itself. I'll be glad to help anyway I can!!

    All the best,

    Brittany

  • Ok thank you so much. So you would recommand study there?

  • Yep!! Absolutely!!!I have no regrets what so ever!!

  • ok, that's good :) You scared me a little with that video! I was like "hell.. Okay, so I'll be crying my eyes out every night. Thats nice". But did you get friends quickly? and which course did you take :)

  • lol, the homesickness does get to you every now and then.... yeah i made friends right away, that wasn't prob!! and I did Drama.

  • can someone help me out? how do the 1st's or 2nd's convert to GPA's? I'm at kingston and wanna go back to the state's for a masters or something

  • what were your living arrangements like?

  • hey? how were the kitchens?

do you have your own fridge in your room?

  • Also i meant to say that I am going to try and study abroad for a year and might then change over to being an international student. What has been your thoughts on doing that? Thanks for your video!

  • I am very interested in studying at Kingston University! I go to a uni in Southern California and their sister school is with Kingston, so I am excited to try and study abroad there. My major is Linguistics at my USA university, I tried to look for something like that on their site but IDK if they have that. I want to try and study there as an international student but I'm not sure if I should here at Kingston since they don't seem to have Linguistics. WHat are your thoughts on this? Thanks!!!

  • @SarahRubyK And if it helps at all, I will either be taking the "Creative Writing and Publishing, MA" course or the undergraduate "Creative Writing and English Literature" course...

  • @britjanee Actually, I do have a couple of questions now that you mention it... I don't know if I'm going to go for my masters or for another undergraduate degree, but I was wondering if you had advice as far as how to handle it financially? I guess I can apply for FAFSA and loans through the US government, but I can't seem to get a clear idea of how much oversea tuition is... Thanks for being so kind!

  • I'm not planning to go to this University, but I came upon this video and thought I'd write and say that I hope you had a great time in this country, all the best.
