JTAG (for Eurovox) Part Two

The 2nd and final part in this demo on how to use a JTAG Kit to revive a Eurovox Cable Receiver.

A reminder for those who are new to the JTAG world...JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) is a generically used term which in simple terms just means 'reprogramming the chip'. Used mainly to completely wipe the 'brains' of your receiver and re-program it. Typically when the unit is (genuinely) OK but due to a program error - the box won't even power up.

Appreciate your comments, but using a computer is complicated.. or is it easy? It's like anything you learn. Seems tricky at first, but simple after practice :)

I'd guess a google search for Eurovox JTAG would get you headed in the right direction... as I make clear... its' purely from a technical/educational angle these videos are aimed...

I watch no TV, so wouldn't have a realistic interest in that outcome.... ;)
