At the least this can alert a good physician to some symptoms that they might otherwise dismiss as "normal" or for which they might "wait and see".
Remember the most important takeaway.... Serum Calcium in the 9s....OK and stable from one blood test to the next.
Follow these videos (and the text versions) and you'll know waaaaaay more than any endocrinologist you are likely to meet. If your MD is dismissive? FIRE HIM! This is the 21st Cent, and the internet is NOT all BS. This SAVED MY LIFE!

Dr. Norman deserves an award for his work. It is a miracle when you can find a Doctor who is an expert and does what he says he can do for you and offers his service to the ordinary person. Thank goodness he had the awareness to share his knowledge on the internet. My HMO doctors treated me for everything but my parathyroid and were making me very sick in that process. Dr. Norman makes this easy enough to understand for anyone who is looking for help. Thanks Doc!!

Been in the medical field all my life, but me and my doc kept missing it! Thought it was the thyroid, when in reality it was the parathyroid, producing 466 mg(?) instead of 35-55 mg. Once out, I cannot believe the difference in my lack of bone pain, decr. GERD, HTN, WOW!!! This surg. is truly lifesaving and life-changing! And these surgeons are the absolute best. You can trust them with your life, I did.
