  • You will read that it is NOT beneficial to take calcium while suffering from primary hyperparathyroidism. Women get this disease 3 times more often then men.

  • One of my parathyroid glands has "migrated" to my chest. Could have been there since birth. How common is this and how difficult will this surgery be? How often is this errant gland cancerous or are they all benign?

  • So entirely helpful, I was just diagnosed with HPT And now I know nothing will help until they pull that sucker out!!! I suffer from chronic kidney stones and nothing helps with the pain, I cant wait to tell my doctor about this!!!
