  • sounds like a bad gear, stripped fly wheel gear or loose bolts...better hope its loose bolts...

  • sounds like loose starter bolts or not enough power to the starter ,Bendix is fine if your in a moist climate a corrosion can stick the armature to the brushes inside take off and turn the starter over ,Loose wet battery clamps will do this to wash battery with Vinager & baking soda will clean like new WILL FOAM AGGRESSIVELY .
