What does ACA mean? Isn't it the same thing as ACS?

The prototype shown in the videro is known as a Type 1 toroidal whistle or Ultrawhistle. It is represented by US Patent 4429656. The Dynawhistle is the inverted, horn loaded Type 2 version that followed. It is represented by US Patent 4686928. The inverted Dynawhistle uses 25% less air consumption and due to horn loading is 10 dB louder on axis than the Ultrawhistle for a given frequency. Both can be designed for a wide range of frequencies.

@acoustics101 How low a frequency is your Dynawhistle?
Can you change its frequency to give out a unique warning?
-
Great job!

Enjoyed the video. American Signal currently builds the largest and loudest warning sirens. I approached them about my Dynawhistle years ago, which could replace up to three of their largest T-135 units. Maybe that's why they lost interest-less units to sell to cover a given area.
