Because you are a BoyScout doesn't mean you can't fire anything other than a .22 or a 12ga. It simply means that you can't shoot them on an official scout outing (i.e. Summer camp) while going to a range with some friends is perfectly fine, provided a parent/gaurdian and the rangemaster approve of it.
lol I shot A Barret & a AK47 and a Modified AK-shoutgun because my scout master is a officer but i mosly like using the barret its bad ass but most of my friends are pusys -_-
i seriously doubt the boy scouts can shoot that kind of weird lookin AK. Also only venturers can shoot pistols, and I'm pretty sure at my camp we only shoot 12-Gauge Shotguns, .22 caliber bolt action rifles, and bows.
As an eagle scout I can confirm mjwaler73's comment with one exception, we can also shoot 12ga shotguns. Nevertheless, the infrequency in how much boy scouts typically get to shoot coupled with this official policy is not a way to get and keep our younger generation interested in shooting and firearms rights. This video however is a perfect example of how to accomplish that goal.
Viewers, please consider: This video displays activities that are not consistent with Boy Scouts of America policy. The Guide to Safe Scouting (2009) limits Boy Scouts to shooting single-shot .22LR firearms only, and handgun use is limited to Venture Scouts only. Just something to bear in mind.
they need to sew their sleeves back on with the extra strings hanging down from their shoulders
