I never made teh connection until now but if u listen to the cd you can see that there's kind of a chronological order set in the songs. Slow dancing in a burning room > dreaming with a broken heart > in repair and finally im gonna find another you. The stages of a hard break up but also the getting over it as well. John Mayer is very good :)

@MrBearmanification No, the chords in the verse are A, G and D, with some variations (it's in A major), and in the solo it changes to D, C and G (it's in D major). When the solo ends, it changes again to A, G, and D. You can check it by playing this chords (A, G and D in the verse and D, C and G in the solo) while the song plays. And the solo is a mixture of D major and D minor pentatonic scales.
