  • Why not use SCREENCAST-O-MATIC?

  • @mattie1304 Cause some people want to record for longer then 15 minutes.

  • Can't I use FRAPS to record emulator screens? (it does work well with games after all)

  • @supremesonicbrazil Yes you can with certain windows. it's very picky though.

  • @MegaGWolf Oh. It didn't tell me on the website. :)

  • Im using hypercam and i record for about 5mins, and it saves a 2gb file? this aint gona be very good if i wana record like 30 mins of gamplay? am i doing somthing wrong? :/

  • I use Microsoft Expression. 60 FPS w/ sound recording.

  • Also note that you should use a pair of headphones so as to not have the game audio interfere with the commentary track.

  • @supremesonicbrazil Yeah it works for some Emulators some others you might have to mess around with some settings on the Emulator to get it to work (I just got Fraps to record VBA by accident lol)

  • Only thing I would criticize is Gwolf doesn't explain how to shot web.

  • @MegaGWolf GWolf if right to use Audacity because it gives you control of the individual elements of video and audio so you can mix and balance the sound a lot better. Otherwise, you run the risk of recording everything only to find that the game audio drowned out your commentary and there is little you can do to fix that. Also, if you have desyncing issues between audio and video, you can fix it a lot easier if the two elements are separate.

  • @erssmom25 thx man :D
