Consumers are buying on-line more than ever before. Saving time, energy and expenses appeals to every market so should your company start to think about trading online? And if you are already, are you doing it right?

Selling on-line reduces overheads, costs, man-power. There are plus points for everyone but everybody should know that simply having an online presence will not guarantee sales or coverage. However, are online transactional sites the way forward?

Robert Lye - Associate, Intellectual Property, Commerce & Technology department - Halliwells LLP Robert advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters across the spectrum of intellectual property law, in which he has practised since 2000. In the online field he regularly advises on copyright and trade mark infringement issues, defamatory content, "cyber squatting", domain name strategy, ownership of website content as well as advising on e-commerce practice generally.
