I had the distinct honor to have played with this phenomenal drummer when I first started playing bass in the early '70's . We had a local funk band in the Northeast bronx called the "8th Chapter Experience" . Steve Jordan is not only his best friend but our sax player's cousin as well .

I can't stop smiling and nodding my head when I hear Mr. Clouden's groove. That's what drumming is about. Playing a beat and the person listening feels it in his/her heart.

Leroy is a wonderfully, generous person and a stellar drummer playing with everyone from Larry Young, Herbie Mann to Steely Dan.
