Here is a movie giving some ideas about patterns you can try using two or three baoding balls rolling them over both your hands.

  • How much practice did/do you put into learning all of these techniques, 1h/day minimum? I've gotten rusty because university has started up again.

  • Thanks!, I could not give you exact numbers but when I try to learn a new technique I can train 4 to 8 hours a day. Which makes the process of learning a new technique pretty fast. Perfecting the movement, making it smooth though that takes constant practice. But I have had months/years that I had no practice. This is not a problem because the movement has become a reflex much like when you have learned to swim you'll always know how. Pick it up where you left off.

  • Great video! I learned this after seeing Greg do it as well! I kinda want to post a response to it because I do it opposite from you. When I pass them, I'm going clockwise in the left hand. I can do it both directions, but i pass them smoother that way. I seem to be backwards from everyone else I've seen. haha!

  • Hey Thisnomyp, I noticed that watching your movies too. The reason I prefer this way of passing is because it requires less forward/backwards movement of my hands. I do however practice the other way around as well.

Oh, and I always like your video responses so if you want to post one please do!

  • loved your vid, keep them coming

  • Thanks, will do!
