The Southern Rockers from the USA formed the band in 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida. They made their breakthrough as the opening band for Lynyrd Skynyrd, and that was even before their first album was for sale! Most of 38 Special's hits came about in a later phase of their career but no other Southern Rock band can boast as many hit-singles in their musical careers!
