It is a known fact that the crab you ate was from Virginia waters.. As the son of a Crabber from Tangier Island I know that the majority of the crabs that are caught and sold as "Maryland Blue Crabs" are caught over the Virginia line and a majority of them are caught by crabbers from Virginia!

Hilda Crockett's House has been serving up those little bite size beauties for years. Often imititated but never duplicated. The fritters the ham the corn pudding. There is no better way to eat and have some great fellowship than there. I want to get back there again. Thanks for the memories.

Actually it is Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs. Or that's what us Tangierman call them anyway.
