After all that pretty talk of mine, here is a story of what I really did.

I honestly can't remember if I made a video about this before. If so please accept my apology.

  • dude ya gotta fix that door. weather change shouldn't be enough to make the door a non closer. pop the trim off and shim the jam, save your self some grief in the future perhaps. or train the dog to use the dead bolt wich evers easier.:)

  • I used to live in the NW suburbs of Chicago. My family and I (Yes, they let me come with) went on a two week vacation. When we came back, the door was wide open. I didn't own a weapon at the time. I just told my wife to be ready to get the heck out of the driveway if something happened. I went in and checked every room of the house and the crawl space. It was all clear. When I spoke to the neighbor who took in my mail he said he didn't know if I had wanted the door closed or not.

  • Glad to hear that you weren't robbed!!

  • Damned Hoppers tryin ta steal my shit! GOD BLESS!

  • Right as you said 'did you hear that' music started blaring through my window. I had a WTF moment. It was a car driving by. It was faded out right when you came back. Too funny.

It's better to do a little recon on the perimeters first, then go in.

Tough talkers often end up not being very tough especially people that broadcast they have some martial arts skill. People carrying or with genuine combat or fighting skills are often more sedate and self assured in my experience.

  • reading comments, you do have the right to stop and detain someone, if they try to leave whether or not you can shoot depends on which direction they move more than anything else.

  • @lamdog76 Great Story Bro, You Just Acted on your own, know its Crazy to Think What you would of Done if you were Confronted By a Man or Two With Weapons, I Think You Probably Would Have Dropped em!! Or Tried your Hardest,

  • @redtony58 my guitar and jewelry' Looking at the mess created I think the nature of my response would probably have been determined by his/her need for a fix.

  • now I understand your taxes, your house is made of corrugated cardboard. There is a question as to whether or not the threat of force is in itself a deterrent, as they say a murderer who's put to death can't commit another murder plus it's not always a question of life or property, if you aren't prepared you don't know how things will escalate, like stalking these things are dynamic, a druggie, I assume, broke into my house, did a lot of senseless damage left stuff of value, but took handguns,

  • if the people next door dont call the cops [ after the shot ] im not calling them . BOAT RIDE !!!
