Indiana grandstand pictures before collapse show a canopy supported by vertical struts only. This is an unstable configuration and can easily collapse. The physics of unstability and its remedy is demonstrated.

  • I'm glad to see your video post here, Don, which presents a sound argument for what seems to be an obvious design flaw. It is shocking to think that such a rudimentary error in the engineering of this structure could have been allowed to take place, with such devastating and sad results. Hopefully, the pending investigation (see following link) will provide solid evidence to substantiate your claim, and allow justice -- of some kind -- to be served.
