Behind the scenes at the "Gabriel" photo shoot at Eye Level Studio. Features music from the new album and shows the making of the album cover with real model . . . real paint . . . and real horns.
I like this bts vid because up until I saw this, I thought all of the glowing linework was done in post with Photoshop. She kind of looks like a demoness that you would see in Tron!
I really like the cover. The only thing Is that the picture is obviously "female" and no Angel in the bible is ever spoken of, referred to or introduced in the female gender. Always male in gender. Sorry, in this day and age of Feminization of everything I get sick of Angels that are Women or little babies. Just a little goofy Peeve of mine. I still do really like the cover though.
I suppose I shold back up these comments with some notions listed on my site- and a proper review now up at amazon-com
out with the old, in with the new- gives believer 4 of 5 stars I wanted to rate it 3 and a half but had to round up, the ditch of the old school lyrics and this artwork- are 3 to 3 and a half.
There is a push by the fans for Michael(the archangel) follow up ep- with the support of metal blade behind them... the old school fans want something- that was left off this record
Im not against deeper things. But what says that deeper lyrics can't go hand in hand with more clearly theistic lyrics?
I believe the real explanation for the 'deeper' lyrics is that these guys lost (a lot of) their faith. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm just saying. That they're not a very christian band anymore.
What I forgot to say is that I didn't mean 'sellouts' in the sense that they imagine they will get big and sell tons of albums. Clearly they understand that they're making quite extreme music and the metal world is very cluttered nowadays. But still, theyre on the Roadrunner label, a respected company And also I ask why they chose to release this trailer of the album cover photo shoot, it seems only because it's 'cool' - there's no message.

Good comment. And I hope you're right. At least you are about the "you have to be who you are" part. Well said.

Nice spin u got there.
So why did they move from clearly theistic lyrics to neutral ones?

For clarification I'll add that the music is fantastic. I don't want ya'll to put minuses on my comment.
