This is a good vid, but jeez people make too many excuses for her. She was happy to set up Gwen to burn at the stake. That goes way beyond revenge to her baddie daddy. If it was just about her kind of justice (aka revenge) all she had to do was slip a well placed knife in between his ribs while he slept instead of all this scheming and hundreds?thousands? dead. It's about power, that's what people with evil intent do, betray what was once good about themselves, try to destroy it in others. Yuck.

Did not watched the series, because I hated how characters of the 'real' Arthurian cycle are 'betrayed': the 'historicized' King Arthur movie was not such an embarrassment,'playing in a different league'. And I hate the Disneyesque bias making the 'heroes' so pure they lack any psychological depth, so simple they are simpletons. The villains are far more interesting -> attractive. And why have the most interesting female characters to be 'evil'? Good old Christian misogyny?

Marvelous song! As for Morgan the Fay, in the oldest parts of the Arthurian Cycle she is a 'good' character. She got an evil part and repute only in later, more Christianized inserts (the Lancelot - Grail sub-cycle), while Merlin is put 'off the loop'. Nonetheless, since the end of the epic was already well known, later authors could not prevent her final reappearance on the 'good' side, as one of the four enchantresses who carry Arthur's body to Avalon.

@DreamCatcher345 wouldnt call it evil just because she stands up against a king whos (or was) killing innocent people and a supposted to be friend whos poisoned her...ô.o she just decided to fight for freedom for those using magic
