PRAY AS THOUGH YOU WERE SUFFERING WITH THEM
Please pray for families in Van, Turkey who are suffering in cold winter conditions after the 7.2 earthquake on October 23, 2011. Hundreds have died or were injured or and thousands are homeless.

If you want ideas on how you can give a gift please write to us vandepremi@gmail.com and can suggest reliable ways to give. Sadly there are news reports of some who are using this tragedy for selfish aims. We have close friends who live about 5 hours drive from Van who are bringing blankets, jackets and helping to rebuild homes. With the cold, snowy winter weather coming there is a need for long term housing. There are others that our friends know who are feeding about 50 people 3 meals per day. Of course, there are larger scale government and NGO efforts as well that we only hear about through the news media.
